15 hours per week

Monday to Friday, 3.30pm to 6.30pm

Term Time Only Plus 20 Days

Scale 1b, Point 2

Actual starting salary: £7,700 per annum

As a Trust we were excited to have been chosen by the Department for Education as their approved sponsor to open a new secondary school to support the increasing population of Barnsley. In September 2021 Trinity Academy St Edward’s opened its doors to a founding cohort of Year 7 students from across the town.

We now have a fantastic opportunity for two Cleaning Assistants to join our friendly team. In this role you will carry out efficient cleaning of the building and the site to a high standard. You will also support the Premises Manager in caring for the premises and its furniture, fittings and equipment, to ensure the physical environment of the premises and grounds is satisfactory for learning.

What we need from you?

· Basic numeracy and literacy skills.

· Cleaning or site maintenance experience.

· Experience in a cleaning role (paid or unpaid).
