Role Overview & Responsibilities

Lincolnshire Trailers are a small family run business with a large site located just off the M180 near Epworth, ideally positioned to bring our products across the length and breadth of Lincolnshire. We offer sales, hire and service of horseboxes, motorhomes and trailers. Offering an outstanding customer service to all our customers in all aspects of our business, helped us to develop a strong reputation as one of Lincolnshire’s leading suppliers of trailers, horseboxes and leisure vehicles.

We operate a busy workshop building and performing PDI checks on trailers prior to customer collection. We are a member of NTTA and have full servicing facilities for any make / model of trailer.

An opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Workshop Operative.

Responsibilities of this role will include:

- Preparing a variety of hire vehicles and trailers (cleaning, loading & performing pre hire checks before collection;

- Working alongside the workshop manage to prepare and assemble parts and option kits on new trailers;

- Assisting with servicing, maintenance and repairs of trailers;

- Delivering & collecting trailers to customers address throughout the Lincolnshire region;

- Valeting and cleaning of sold trailers prior to customer collection;

- Working closely with the Hire manager to ensure smooth operation of our large hire fleet of Motorhomes, Horseboxes, Car Trailers, Fridge trailers etc.;

To be considered for this position, you must have:

- Full Drivers licence (ideally clean, but minor points accepted);

- Customer service focussed, with good interpersonal skills;

- Conscientious, reliable, flexible and willing to go the extra mile;

- Previous towing experience is preferable but not essential;

- Forklift experience preferred but not essential;

This is a diverse role, so you must be adaptable and have a ‘can do’ attitude.

We offer a competitive salary, based on experience, with 22 days holiday allowance + 8 Bank Holidays and pension contributions included.

We will provide ongoing training to further your career.

Hours of work

Mon-Fri 08:30 – 17:00 1 hour lunch

Some Saturdays will be required, but a day off in the week will be given in lieu

Salary depending on experience, but we aim to pay circa £27,500
