Role Overview & Responsibilities

The Town Crier is looking to expand its team.

We are a great pub located in the city centre who offer fresh, homemade food, serve real ale and provide events such as quiz, game and open mic nights as well as our popular live entertainment held every Saturday night.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in the food and hospitality industry. Either working behind the bar preparing drinks and taking food orders as well as/or front of house taking food to customers tables, completing check backs and upselling desserts and drinks.

The ideal candidate will also:

- Have great customer service

- Have the ability to build up rapport with our customers

- Have a friendly personality

- Be flexible with shifts

- Be able to work weekends

- Be a reliable team member

You do not necessarily need any experience as training will be provided.

A successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate that they can work great as a team as well as being able to work unsupervised during busy times and show they are keen to learn.

You will need to be over 18 and able to work weekends to apply for this job.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 6-20 per week

Salary: £10.14-£10.50 per hour
