Role Overview & Responsibilities

CAD Engineer – up to £35k – Ormskirk

Torque Consulting is currently seeking a CAD Engineer to join a global manufacturing client of ours based near Ormskirk. Our client is a market leader within their industry and requires a CAD engineer to join their ever-growing team.

As a CAD Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and developing detailed 3D models and technical drawings using CATIA V5 software. You will work closely with our design and engineering teams to ensure that all designs meet the necessary specifications and standards.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in CAD engineering, with a strong background in surface design modelling and a proven track record of delivering high-quality work. CATIA V5 experience is mandatory.

You will need a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field and excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You must be able to work well in a team environment and be comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
