Care Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We have a great opportunity for a self motivated care assistant position for 20 to 30 hours per week to join our excellent team.

We expect the candidate to have high standards and to provide high quality care for our clients.

We expect the person appointed to have an understanding of and empathy with elderly people and to be flexible to cover nights, days and will include weekends.

The successful applicant needs to be an enthusiastic, motivated, caring individual and be able to work as part of a team from 8 am to 9 pm and/or 9 pm to 8 am including weekend shifts and be flexible with hours.

Duties include providing all personal care to the elderly and assisting with their care needs throughout the night including End of Life Care.

Light domestic duties are also included. Good communication skills are required and experience in caring for the elderly and dementia clients .

COVID-19 considerations:
All employees to wear masks and have Lateral Flow and PCR tests weekly.

• Blackpool, FY4 2QP: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
