Role Overview & Responsibilities

Role: Warehouse Operative (Dispatch)

Salary: Tiered System; starting at £10.94ph.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday; 6:00am – 3:00pm / 7:00am – 4:00pm.

We are a busy fast-growing poultry manufacturing company that requires Warehouse Operatives to join the Dispatch team. We require someone who is reliable, hardworking, has excellent communications skills, good attention to detail and has a general understanding of Food Safety.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Picking orders (fresh & frozen).
• Loading vehicles.
• Assisting with stock control & stock taking.
• General warehouse duties, to include loading stock onto pallets/racking (in freezers & cold stores), ensuring pallets are disposed of correctly and general housekeeping to ensure the warehouse is always kept clean & tidy.
• You will be required to work in cold conditions to complete daily duties.

Requirements:

• Must be computer literate.
• Must have good levels of numeracy & literacy.
• Must have the ability to lift and complete manual handling activities.
• Experience working in a busy warehouse environment.
• Excellent attention to detail & time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, organise and prioritise responsibilities.
• Forklift truck licence is desirable but not essential.

Salary: From £10.94 per hour
