Role Overview & Responsibilities

Snug Hospitality is an ambitious hospitality operator creating comfortable, warm, and cosy pubs around Norfolk and the East of England. Established in 2020, we acquired our first venue in May 2021 and now operate 4 venues with a 5th planned for early 2023. Behind Snug Hospitality is a team of committed individuals full of bold ideas and enthusiasm, passionate about our industry & loyal to each other and our customers.

THE ROLE

We're looking for a passionate Team Leader/Supervisor at The White Swan Gressenhall - a thriving family friendly village pub in the beautiful village of Gressenhall. We serve up the best local ales & beers, a menu full of homemade pub favourites utilising fresh & local ingredients and plenty of good times for the local community. We're busy all year round and are putting together a calendar of events to keep creating reasons to visit for both people who live nearby and provide a destination for people to visit from further afield.

You'll be the face of the business when on shift comfortable leading the team and delivering amazing standards.

• Deliver exceptional customer service standards making sure customers feel welcome, enjoy their time with us and want to come back
• Make sure that our food & drink is always of the highest quality before it reaches the customer & resolve any issues proactively
• Coach the team to take accountability for their customers, keep the pub looking great at all times & to actively gain product knowledge
• Support the pub management to ensure profitability is high, place orders as required and achieve sales targets
• Act as a key holder opening & closing the pub as required

THE PERSON

• At least 1 year in a supervisor or senior team member role in a similar venue
• An understanding of the local area
• Experience of working directly with the business owners & a small yet growing business (preferred)
• Desire to learn & develop your skills and ambition to take on a bigger role in 6-8 months

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary: £10.50-£11.50 per hour
