Hotel Receptionist, Pay rate: £11.50 per hour (Full time)

Position: Immediate start - Reports to Manager

Job Objective: To deliver friendly, efficient customer service and to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all our guests, with the key aim of retaining and attracting new customers

Essential requirements: You must:

• have proof of right to work in the UK, able to converse in English, have basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, flexibility to work
• Be flexible for early and late shifts

Main responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service, at all times
• Deal with all enquiries in a professional and courteous manner, in person, on the telephone or via e-mail with guests, colleagues, housekeeping, managers.
• Deal with check-ins, check-outs, collecting payments and keeping records of transactions in the system.
• Fulfil all reasonable requests from guests to ensure their comfort, satisfaction and safety
• Must have multi tasking skills to be ready to help in any department.
• Miscellaneous duties as required as blow or which will be discussed if/when they arise.

Preferences: A background in hospitality industry and customer service will be preferred for the role. Also, any candidate with basic knowledge of Guestline/ Rezlynx, Opera or any property management system (PMS).

Training: Full basic-training will be provided to meet the requirements of role.

• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
