Role Overview & Responsibilities

We have a position for a new staff member to join our bar/restaurant as a bar crew at The Vine.

The hours involved in this vacancy will be from 7.5 hours fixed per week and 12+ if working extra shifts during football games when WBA are playing at home. This could be on Saturday lunchtimes and/or mid week evenings.

Additional shifts may be available during busy times.

The job involves.

• Dispensing drinks
• Taking food and drinks orders
• General cleaning of the bar and restaurant areas
• General bar duties – stocking fridges, washing glasses, etc.
• Table service where necessary
• Collecting glasses and plates when finished by customers

You will be expected to work alongside our other departments as a team to ensure customers have a great experience when visiting The Vine.

Ideally, you will

• Have good customer services skills
• Be able to work as part of a small team
• Have good product knowledge of draught beers, spirits, and wines
• Be punctual and reliable

This vacancy is on a fixed rota basis, and the work hours will be. Days may be flexible – please ask when applying.

We are currently looking for two new members to join our teams, and the available shifts are;

• Wednesday 11:30 am to 2:00 pm
• Thursday 11:30 am to 2:00 pm
• Friday 11:30 am to 2:00 pm
• Matchdays (Saturdays) 11:00 am to 3:30 / 4 pm (weekday) 5 / 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm

Additional shifts may be available during busy periods such as bank holidays, home football matches at West Bromwich Albion FC, and to cover annual/sick leave.

Please note the rate offered is for 23+. The rate of pay will be in line with the national living wage at the current time. This will be discussed if you are called for an interview.
