Role Overview & Responsibilities

The Terrace bar is a fast paced bar that is currently undergoing renovations to be the best place for a night out in Rushden! Providing intricate cocktails and tapas dishes.

Responsibilities of Bar staff-

· Taking customer orders and offering recommendations/upselling.

· Receive and process payments. (Cash and Card)

· Greeting guests and seating them to their assigned area.

· Maintaining the presentation of the bar and floor area.

· Serving food and beverages.

· Ensuring all food and beverages meet the quality standards.

· Acknowledging customer feedback and passing it to the correct channels.

· Oversee the operations of the bar/floor area.

· Comply with all health and safety regulations.

· Ensure any maintenance issues are reported.

· Preparing beverages following recipes.

· Stock taking and maintaining stock.

To be a successful candidate:

· Be 18 years or older in order to sell alcohol.

· Experience in hospitality or similar guest facing role.

· Ability to work clean and tidy even under pressure.

· Ability to remain calm under pressure.

· Eagerness to grow and progress in your role.

· Flexible attitude towards work.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Ideally knowledge on hot drinks.

Job Types: Permanent, Zero hours contract

Salary: £7.49-£10.42 per hour
