Role Overview & Responsibilities

The Silly Sausage Café is a small traditional Cafe based in the heart of Nottingham’s cattle market, just round the corner from the Notts County Football Club.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Cafe Assistant to join our close-knit team for a minimum of 16 hours per week across the following days:-

Opening Hours

• Monday to Friday - 6:45am to 3:00pm
• Saturday - 6:45am to 1:30pm

We will try to take your circumstances into account when deciding your rota but the successful candidate would be required to work 2 Saturdays per month and be flexible to work the occasional additional shift to provide cover for holidays and sickness. Free parking is available on site and you will be provided with a free lunch for each shift that you work.

Main Responsibilities include:-

• Working together as part of a close-knit team
• Preparing, cooking and delivering our delicious range of food options
• Maintaining our high safety, cleaning and hygiene standards
• Providing an excellent service to customers at all times
• Setting up for the day, taking orders and serving on customers
