Role Overview & Responsibilities

Location: RNBT Headquarters, Portsmouth
Salary: Up to £14.00 per hour
Job type: Flexible 18-25 hrs per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Part Time Finance Assistant, based at our headquarters in Portsmouth.

The Finance Assistant is required to carry out finance tasks in relation to finance systems and processes, accurately and timely and in accordance with the organisation’s policy and procedures. These include processing invoices, preparing payment runs and general transactional finance tasks. Full comprehensive training will be given.

Academic Qualifications

Up to 5 GCSE’s or equivalent including English and Maths

Work Experience/Technical Skills

    • Good PC skills with working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.
    • Solid experience working within a busy and varied finance team.
    • Experience dealing with customers, both internally and externally.
    • Good numeracy skills.

People Skills

    • Good written and oral communication skills
    • Initiative-taking and proactive
    • Keen attention to detail
    • Team player suited to a collaborative environment
    • Flexible approach to tasks
