Role Overview & Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for a Food Technologist for a leading FMCG food manufacturer in the Cambridgeshire area.

The Technologist will work closely with key customers, driving technical excellence and developing positive working relationships.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate with c. 2 years industry experience who enjoys a challenge and thrives in a fast paced food manufacturing environment.

THE ROLE

• Develop relationships with all key customer stakeholders
• Function as the main point of contact for your customer base
• Proactively communicate quality to customers, managing all shelf life
• Manage all customer issues and discuss further opportunities playing a pivotal part in the growth and profitable development of customer accounts
• Work collaboratively with operations to identify improvement opportunities in regard to quality performance and efficiency
• Visit sites and supply partners ensuring customer requirements are understood and implemented
• Take the lead on projects

Requirements:

• Previous experience within a technical role within the food industry
• Customer facing experience
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment
• Strong prioritisation skills
• Able to analyse and interpret data

Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
