Role Overview & Responsibilities

The ONE Group are delighted to be partnering with one of the world’s largest manufacturing organisations, who have a fantastic presence as an employer of choice in the local area. Based at their Peterborough site, they are looking to appoint a qualified accountant to join them as a Commercial Finance Business Partner.

This is a unique role which will see you positioned as a business partner for their sales and marketing team, you’ll provide key analysis into team and business unit performance and trends.

Day to day duties in the role will include:

• Influencing relationships with different departments, as well as sales and marketing.
• 3rd party sales reporting
• Monthly corporate reporting
• Ownership of the forecast cycle
• Supporting ongoing process and controls improvements
• Assisting with the preparation of new business cases to support with key decision making.
• Analysing data to enhance process improvement across the team.
• P&L analysis and consolidation of business unit

So what does the perfect candidate look like? They are ideally looking for a qualified accountant with a strong management accounting background. An analytical and commercial mindset is key as well as previous exposure to business partnering. Theability to understand detailed data and analysis to translate key messages to non-finance leaders is also a given.

The salary for the role is paying up to £54,000 per annum and comes with a 10% bonus, competitive benefits package, hybrid working, an enhanced pension, and a fantastic progression route.
