Kitchen Helper

The Mexicanos is currently seeking part-time and full-time Kitchen Helpers to join our team. As a Kitchen Helper, you will work alongside our experienced chefs to help prepare and cook delicious Mexican cuisine for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of ingredients, such as chopping vegetables and measuring ingredients
• Help with the cooking of various dishes, such as tacos, burritos, and enchiladas
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized, including washing dishes and cleaning surfaces
• Assist with inventory management, such as restocking ingredients and supplies
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and food handling procedures

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 30 per week

Salary: £8.00-£10.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
