The Longridge Nursery is a family-owned nursery in the busy, thriving town of Longridge. Opened in January 2023, the nursery is steadily building its numbers. The team is a friendly, hard-working one with core values at its heart

We are looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join our team and provide quality childcare to children aged 0-5. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing environment for the children, planning and delivering age-appropriate activities, and providing support to parents and families. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe and secure environment for children.
• Engage in activities that promote learning and development.
• Plan and implement activities for children that are appropriate to their age and stage of development.
• Observe and monitor children's behaviour and development.
• Provide guidance and support to parents/carers.
• Maintain records of children's progress and development.
• Ensure all equipment is safe and secure.

Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

• Nursery: 1 year (required)
• Nursery experience: 1 year (preferred)
• Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
• Management: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
