Retail Sales Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

The Herbalist Company are recruiting a retail assistant to work between our Rochester and Gillingham shops.

As this is a retail position, you need to be available to work weekends and flexible with working at either shop. Due to the products that we sell, you will need to be over 18.

The CBD retail industry is a unique one, this isn't a bag items up and send people on their way kind of role. Since we opened 3 years ago, we've expanded to 6 shops, a number of outlets and our products are sold in numerous retailers. Whilst we only deal with the CBD side of the cannabis industry, a lot of our customers are looking to give up the other side of things and CBD is a great way to do this. An outgoing personality is a must to succeed in this shop. There is huge scope to grow within the role and if you spot opportunities, we will back you all the way and you'll reap the rewards

Our aim is to pioneer the movement of CBD use in the UK as an enhancement to a health and wellbeing focused lifestyle. We want to educate our customers on the benefits of CBD for both medicinal and recreational use and start the conversation to bring CBD products into the mainstream. You will be taking customers on an exciting educational journey as well as selling various products and brand merchandise.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £10.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus scheme

• Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
