Job description

We are looking for hospitality professionals to support the restaurant and bar team at the Griffin Newquay.

Whether you have experience in the hospitality sector or not, we are looking for enthusiastic individuals to provide outstanding customer care to our loyal pub and hotel patrons. Due to the nature of the work, applicants must be 18 years or older.

Duties and responsibilities:

To assist in the daily running of the restaurant, bar and hotel at the Griffin Newquay, including;

· Setting up and clearing down after service

· Ensure the smooth day to day running of all bar sales/food operations

· Responsible for till operation; taking cash, credit card transactions and charging guests’ room accounts from the sale of bar products

· Ensuring customer requests are dealt with promptly and efficiently

· Provide a level of service that exceeds customer expectations

· Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and quality in the restaurant and bar at all times

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From £10.50 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Newquay, TR7 1SP: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
