Dog Walkers & Pet Sitters needed

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We're looking for genuine dog lovers with experience of looking after dogs who are available between 10am and 3pm during weekdays to carry out dog walks in the Chelsea and South Kensington areas. Please only apply if you are available every weekday between these times. Candidates will be expected to know basic dog behaviour and body language. We only walk one owner's dog(s) at a time. We are also interested in hearing from you if you are interested in day/overnight dog sitting in the owners home.

• Over 18
• A genuine animal lover with previous experience of looking after dogs
• Living within 20 minutes travelling of Chelsea and South Kensington by bicycle or walking
• Reliable, trustworthy, fit and happy to walk in all weathers
• Willing to use public transport to reach clients if needed (we cannot reimburse travel expenses)
• Must be available between 10am and 3pm on weekdays
• Be able to demonstrate good time keeping
• Be willing to commit to a minimum of 6 months
• Able to communicate effectively via phone, text and email
• Have a good command of the English language (spoken & written)
• Excellent people skills are needed

We need walkers/sitters to be able to commit to at least 6 months (ideally longer). This position is NOT for anyone looking to 'fill in' whilst looking for a permanent job and is on a nil hours contract, freelance basis. To find out more, please visit our 'jobs' page on www.thefurrydogmother.net.
