About us

The English Whisky Co is based at The English Distillery, Roudham, Norfolk, NR16 2QW. We are England's oldest registered whisky distillery and specialise in the production of single malt whisky.

Bookkeeper required - min 16 hours per week, potential for more

• Full accounts including managing purchase and sales ledger, weekly bank rec
• Accounts layout, preparation for year end
• Payroll
• Keep rent book up to date
• A knowledge of Sumit accounts systems would be advantageous bot not essential
• A good knowledge of Word & Excel essential

Other roles

• Weekly cashing up of websales & retail shop
• Weekly Excise payments including accompanying paperwork and weekly balances - training available.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary: £18,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Norwich: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Accounting: 3 years (required)
• bookkeeping: 3 years (required)
