Part-time Housekeeper

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are currently looking for an experienced housekeeper to join our team. The Craibstone Suites are 4 star serviced suites, comprising of 18 suites all with kitchenette, en suite and seating area.

The candidate will be required to start immediately and work 2-3 days out of 7 days, approximately 10-15 hours per week. You will be required to work during the week as well as alternate weekends, and we require you to be flexible and able to cover staff holidays and absence.

Shift times are approximately 10 am - 3pm. Please note these times may vary depending on the businesses requirements.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, reliable and have the ability to work independently. We are praised on the standard of cleanliness for our hotel and require someone with a passion for cleaning, attention to detail and ideally with experience in a similar role.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Cleaning and maintaining guest apartments, public corridors and staff areas
• Making beds by removing and replacing sheets and pillow cases
• Cleaning floors by washing and vacuuming floors
• Maintaining furnishings by dusting and polishing furniture
• Maintaining a safe, secure, and clean working environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures
• Reporting defects, damage and hazards to the management team
• Be able to work individually and as part of a team
• Offering guests a friendly and professional welcome
