Head Pizza Chef - Must LOVE CHEESE - The Cheese Bar New Opening!

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We're looking for a creative and passionate Head Chef to work with us at our new opening restaurant located on the site of The Courtyard Dairy in the Yorkshire Dales.

We’re dedicated to celebrating the best in British Cheese, and have been working with suppliers from all around the country to create our signature grilled cheese sandwiches and other classic cheese-focused dishes – all seasonal, and made with the best quality produce since 2014 and we are now going to use that experience and turning our hand to making delicious wood-fired pizzas! We are looking for someone with a passion for all things cheese and dough related to open the site and lead and train the team and develop the menu.

We’re an extremely passionate, creative and determined team, with an eye for detail and a strong focus on the customer experience. If you’re passionate about food and hospitality, have a natural ability to lead and motivate a team, and love cheese as much as we do, we want to hear from you!

We’re looking for someone with previous pizza-making experience and ideally head chef experience who’s highly organised and knows how to get the best out of their team. A knowledge of British cheese is ideal but not essential. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the experience of our guests is second to none, monitoring and maintaining GP margins and food and staff cost thresholds, and ensuring a positive working relationship across the entire restaurant team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £32,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
