The Cambridge Centre for Languages is an international language school which runs a six week summer camp from July 8th - August 20th, based in St Mary’s School in Cambridge, for students aged 9-17.

This is a rewarding and challenging role which is integral to the enjoyable running of the summer programme. Social Activities Officers (SAOs) are responsible for the safe running of the students’ activity sessions which includes daytime activities like sports, performance and arts sessions, as well as museum visits and punting in Cambridge. SAOs also supervise and lead evening activities and weekend day excursions. Students should be encouraged to practice their spoken English during activities.

SAOs typically are University-age students returning during the summer. This is not typically a residential role, so candidates should live in Cambridge or within easy commuting distance.
