The Butchers Arms is a busy Pub in Pontsticill, Merthyr Tydfil.

We are looking for a hardworking, Kitchen assistant. You must be

• flexible with shift availability
• work well with a team
• a yes can attitude
• be able to drive

Duties Include

• assisting the chef with all aspects of cleaning
• putting deliveries away
• keeping outside areas free of clutter
• light food preparation
• filling in relevant cleaning rotas

We are looking for a talented Kitchen Assistant to join our team. The candidate must have experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and be able to follow instructions from head chefs and recipe cards. Kitchen Assistants work closely with the rest of the kitchen staff and must be willing and able to work for long hours in a highly organised, close-knit team environment. Previous experience preparing and serving food is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Have knowledge of Thai cooking techniques.
• Prepare meals and side dishes according to customers' needs and preferences.
• Prepare food in a timely manner.
• Be able to explain dishes to wait staff and customers.
