Coffee Shop Team Leader

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for a new team leader for our lovely little coffee shop with an hourly rate of £11.30 p/h.

The role consists of : greeting and serving customers, making coffees and drinks,preparing and plating up food such as cakes, sandwiches and pasties, tidying and cleaning as well as management duties such as; managing a small team, making sure the shop is fully staffed at all times, organising invoices and paperwork, training new team members and ensure standards of service, food quality and cleanliness are maintained at all times. Being able and willing to take responsibility and pride for the shop is essential. On the job training will be given for all duties.

We are an independent coffee shop in central Bath specialising in great coffee, an excellent bakery menu and friendly service. We also have the benefit of amazing views! This is a small shop and team so there is lots of potential to learn new skills, join a family business and work in a lovely shop!

The successful applicant must be available any day of the week to work between 37-50 hours weekly with generally 2 days off per week. This shop is a busy cafe and takeaway and so we are looking for someone who can multitask and is looking for a high energy role where there is always something to do.

Experience in either hospitality or management within a different sector is essential. A positive and hard working attitude is a must!
