IMPORT MERCHANDISER – YOUNG FASHION BRAND

We are a leading brand agency with a strong reputation in young, trend-led fashion. We are home to multiple brands across men’s, women’s and kid’s wear. Our products are stocked in the likes of ASOS, Footasylum, MandM Direct, TK Maxx and Studio. We are a small creative team looking for somebody who would make a great addition to the team!

The Brands Club Limited. has already established itself within the Manchester fashion scene as we move from strength to strength.

Your Responsibilities

• Raise, manage and track orders with factories
• Create and manage the Critical Path to ensure agreed delivery dates are maintained
• Liaising with factories overseas and customers on a daily basis, via email & phone
• Digesting & understanding customer manuals and communicating points to factories
• Chasing samples
• Checking and approving fit & PP samples against specs
• Reviewing approvals internally before submitting to customers and chasing comments
• Issuing approval comments to factories/requesting and monitoring resubmissions
• Liaising with shipping line and factory to ensure goods are shipped and delivered to customers on time
• Arranging bookings with customer via email/customer own extranets
• Assisting team with general duties
• Booking in deliveries
• Liaising with customers regarding deliveries
• Negotiating prices and delivery dates
• Working closely with designers, Managing directors, and Merchandising team

Skills/Qualifications and Experience required

• Minimum of 2 years experience as an import merchandiser
• Able to work to tight deadlines and quick turn arounds
• Proficient in excel
• Strong numerical skills
• Strong communication skills
• Enthusiastic team player who can work well under pressure
• Experience within young fashion market ideally preferred
• Must be based or easily commutable to Manchester – this is an

Salary: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
