Role Overview & Responsibilities

The Boatyard Restaurant in Leigh-on-Sea are looking for a new captain to take over the helm.

We are looking to recruit for our newly created, General Manager position.

Initially they will be working under the guidance of the owner but with a view of full autonomy when ready.

The important qualities needed are:

· management experience in the hospitality industry.

· a good understanding of the day to day running of a busy restaurant.

· should also have or be able to develop promotional skills to expand further our already successful daytime and evening special events program, along with weddings etc.

This position would suit applicants with ambition and who possesses a strong personality to enable them to develop an already busy business further.

Salary by negotiation but to match ability and drive.
