Production Assistant

Title: Production Assistant / Production Operative

Our client who have opened a new production site in Tamworth are looking for Temporary Production Assistants/Operatives to cover their peak period. £12.00 per hour. Overtime available - £18.00 per hour after 37.5 hours completed. 10:00 - 22:00. Work available between Monday to Sunday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Packing products in line with internal processes/ systems.
• Scanning products to produce labels.
• Reconciliation of products and cards.
• Creating and organising pick lists
• Reconciliation of products and cards
• Producing personalised products
• Printing labels using label printers and applying these, either by hand or machine
• Printing personalised labels using Ricoh, Sawgrass and Epson printers
• Printing mug artwork
• Printing other personalised items
• Producing personalised mugs, alcohol gifts, chocolates, etc.
• Maintenance of printing equipment and other machinery in your area
• Keeping work areas tidy at all times and making sure that 5S is maintained
• Picking gift items from the warehouse using the WMS system
• Managing and replenishing stock levels
• Packing products in line with internal processes/ systems.
• Reporting quality and safety issues to line manager (Team Leader, Supervisor or Management)
• Giving training and mentor new starters
• Helping your colleagues in other departments
