Role Overview & Responsibilities

The Albion pub is a pinnacle bar with sports, quizzes, competitions and exceptional standards. The pub has recently under gone an extensive refurbishment which we are very proud of. We are a family rub bar and are looking for new members to join our Albion family. Applicants must have excellent customer service skills, the ability to multitask and can remain calm when working in a busy environment. Teamwork is vital and being able to communicate effectively with others is key:

· Customer service skills, including being knowledgeable about products to assist customers.

· Enjoy working with others and be able to cooperate as part of a team.

· Able to work on your own and use your own initiative.

· Active listening skills and a good memory for remembering different orders from different customers.

· Calm demeanour to deal with demanding customers.

· Attention to detail.

· Ability to carry out basic order processing and payment tasks on a till or a handheld device.

· The ability to work well in a noisy, high-pressure environment.

· Ability to multitask and remain organised during a busy period.

· Able to complete bar cleaning tasks to a high standard.

· Must be flexible and able to work weekends.

Bar Staff experience requirements

A background in the hospitality industry is beneficial, and previous experience in Bar Staff positions is useful although not essential as full training will be given.
