We are now recruiting a Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team at The Abbey Hotel.

As a Food and Beverage Assistant you are responsible for being totally customer focused by consistently delivering excellent customer service with a friendly and welcoming approach to service. We want a dedicated individual who oozes confidence and shows genuine sincerity for their team and every guest that walks through our doors. We are happy to offer flexibility where possible!

The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to work weekends during the busy period.

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• To be fully aware of hotel facilities and activities. The service of food and beverage as directed by superiors.
• To be fully aware of and observe security procedures laid down by the hotel and company.
• To attend work consistently well groomed, in uniform, as laid down to the standard required.
• To serve all guests in accordance with hotel standards
• To ensure tables are set and cleared to the Company standards. This to include bar, restaurant service and conference and events.
• To provide attentive service during the meal and watch for special requests.
• To assist in the general cleaning of your working areas.
• To take every opportunity to upsell – desserts, starters, drinks.
• To be fully aware of and comply with hotel and company rules and regulations as identified in the team member handbook.
• To consistently deliver superior customer service to every guest.
• To attend training when required.

Job Type: Zero hours contract

Salary: £10.52 per hour
