A great next step for a talented aspiring or existing Head of Service to lead a key portfolio of front-line Housing and Environmental Health services; ideal for someone who wants to enrich their leadership skills, both within our senior management team and into strategic areas well beyond the services you’ll be leading.

You’ll be joining an authority that has big ambitions at an exciting time. We’re about to launch our new Corporate Plan, following extensive community input through an innovative deliberative democracy approach. It has inclusion and empowering communities at its core and a key objective to transform our main town centres of Andover and Romsey.

We are looking for an inspiring leader with professional experience in either discipline, able to advise both staff and elected members and lead on a breadth of issues across these services. You will have a strong commitment to inclusion, working in partnership, developing the services you manage and fostering talent.
