Tea Room Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are a busy tearoom located behind Taverham Nursery Centre. Open seven days a week we are looking for an additional person to join our team.

You will be trained to cook all savoury items and prepare all salads etc ready before lunch service. You will also be responsible for cooking and plating all orders for lunch.

Duties will also include washing up, delivering food to customers, counter service and keeping the tearoom clean and tidy.

Hours will vary but likely to be three shifts of approximately 7 to 7.25 hours per day. This will include some weekend work. You will also be expected to work additional hours to cover sickness and holidays.

Experience not essential but the ideal candidate must be able to keep calm under pressure and be able to commute easily to the tearoom.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 21 per week

Salary: £9.50 per hour
