Role Overview & Responsibilities

Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Location: Dartford, Kent

Rate of Pay: £11.20 per hour (£12.20 per hour overtime rate)

Hours of work: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm

Swanstaff Recruitment are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative for our client, an industry leader in health hazard control, based in Dartford, DA1. This is a temporary position with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

Job Description:

• Picking, preparing and dispatching orders
• Dealing with internal and external queries
• Carry out quality control processes – complete a final check of all goods ready for dispatch that covers the following observations - correct items / quantities / quality
• Booking deliveries with suppliers
• General warehouse/Car park housekeeping
• Loading and unloading of goods
• Supporting stock control processes
• Supporting the team leader with Exhibition (Public display fleet) stock takes and processes

Experience/Skill Requirements:

• Ability to communicate with other departments via email/teams/calls etc
• Driving License (preferred not essential)
• Forklift license (preferred but training will be provided)
• IT literate and confident to use IT systems and MS office
• Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Team player with a can-do attitude
• Attention to detail and a desire to deliver excellence
• Respectful to fellow team members
