Role Overview & Responsibilities

Sunnyside Nursing Home is a small family run nursing home for the elderly in Crossgates, Leeds. There are a maximum of 34 residents who require general nursing and care. The home is rated as 'Good' in all areas by CQC.

We are looking for an additional registered nurse to join our team on nights. The role is full-time (36-48 hours) and you would be working 12 hour shifts. Our staffing structure is for two registered nurses on duty during the day and one during the night. Although our nurses generally work either days or nights, we don't contract exclusively for either and ask that you be flexible to help cover annual leave, absences etc. Reporting to the Registered Manager you will be required to assist in the day to day nursing and care of the residents and your duties will include medication administration, care planning, dressings and wound management, catheterisation, specialist feeding techniques, liaison with external health professionals, overseeing the care staff and generally ensuring the highest standard of care is provided to the residents.

We are offering a salary of £23.00/hour. Overtime is paid at a premium of 25% to normal pay. Bank holidays are at a 50% premium to normal pay.
