Student Loans Company is a non-profit making Government-owned organisation to provide loans and grants to students in universities and colleges in the UK. Since 1989, we have enabled our customers to invest in their futures by delivering secure, accurate and efficient assessment, payment, and repayment services.

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Administration Co-ordinator to join our team. Reporting to an Operations Manager, the role holder is responsible for a variety of key administrative tasks within the Verification Operations department that support and enable the delivery of the operational service.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support effective resource planning through managing annual leave and flexi-time requests for the department in line with set guidelines.
  • Raise and receipt purchase orders for a variety of operational services.
  • Coordinate a monthly Employee Forum, working with line managers to ensure a wide range of representatives from across the department are in attendance.
  • Coordinate timely reviews of all standard operating procedures and work instructions to ensure these remain up-to-date and signed off by Process Owners.
  • .Review all credit balance refund requests in line with set instructions
  • .Coordinate any system access requests for both new and existing employees.
  • Collate data and statistics on behalf of the management team to support informed decisions.
  • Support GDPR compliance through timely reviews of information held in drives.

What you bring:

  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent written English communication skills (spelling, grammar, and fluency).
  • Ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise own work.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel packages
