Chiropractic Therapy Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are seeking a Chiropractic Therapy Assistant to join our team! You will be working alongside the chiropractor directly administering physical therapies to patients.

Responsibilities:

• Set patients up on various physical therapy tables.
• Work directly and hands-on with patients on a moving table and massage units.
• Talk with patients about their care and how they are progressing on treatment
• Upkeep of the treatment areas
• Collaborate with other team personnel to achieve well-rounded care
• Promotion of office to patients in-office as well as via phone, email and text.
• Simple administrative tasks to help the doctor.
• Maintain our resale items and keep the area well stocked.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in physical therapy, massage or chiropractic is valuable
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle physical workload on your feet for up to 8 hours a day.
• Able to do demanding work with hands (upper body strength needed)
• Ability to build rapport with patients well and quickly
• Able to follow very detailed directions from the doctor
• Strong leadership qualities
• Interest in natural health is a plus
• Spanish Speaking is a plus
• Must be able to work Saturdays 8:00 to 2:00 as well as Mon, Wed and Fri 11:30-6:30. This position is 37-40 hours a week 6 days. We will go over the exact schedule.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
We screen our staff and patients for temperature and illness upon entering the office. Masks are optional. We wipe down all tables after every use and have hand sanitizer available around the office.
