I am seeking a friendly and reliable individual with a background in mathematics who is interested in helping tutees build confidence, improve academic results, whilst having fun learning.
I am looking for a candidate who understands the needs of students and can react to those needs, and is comfortable working with secondary aged children.
The successful candidate will hold a DBS, have experience of teaching/tutoring, be a qualified secondary maths teacher and be UK based.
This role is on a self-employed basis. Ideal as additional income rather than replacement income. Choose your own working hours to fit your lifestyle and commitments.
Responsibilities:
- Develop lesson plans.
- Teach online -own laptop/PC required.
- Explain concept to students in a fun and engaging manner.
- Set homework and marking/feedback.
- Provide feedback to parents after sessions.
- Adapt lessons for students with additional needs.
Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
Part-time hours: 0-20 per week
Salary: £20.00-£27.00 per hour
