Role Overview & Responsibilities

Our client is a well-established friendly firm of solicitors’ based in one of the most sought-after locations in York’s city centre and they are looking for a keen motivated individual to join our Life Planning team!

This niche practice deals with Property and Life Planning which has seen considerable growth over the last few years. Working with them in York offers a great work/life balance in a friendly team-oriented environment.

They are looking for a graduate paralegal to join our busy Life Planning Department dealing with a broad range of private client work including Wills, Trusts, Probate and Powers of Attorney and be an integral part of the team. Our preferred candidate will have:

• some legal knowledge about private client work through studies and / or work experience;
• some work experience in a law firm;
• excellent verbal and written communication skills; and
• good IT knowledge.

You will be assisting in a busy department working closely with our experienced Life Planning team and gaining a broad range of experience in all aspects of our work including direct client contact. Training will be given where necessary and some prior experience would be an advantage.

This post is office-based and full-time.

Salary: £18,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
