Role Overview & Responsibilities

Stamp James Solicitors are based in Southernhay, Exeter. We're an independent specialist property law firm dealing with residential & commercial property, land and business transfer.

We are growing and are subsequently recruiting for a Graduate Legal Assistant to join our team!

Duties include:-

· File creation;

· Obtaining and reviewing title documents from the Land Registry;

· Carrying out legal research;

· Preparing first drafts of legal documents (such as contracts etc);

· Preparing draft Reports on Title;

· Dealing with pre-completion requirements;

· Dealing with completions;

· Preparing and submitting Companies House registrations;

· Preparing and submitting Land Registry applications and dealing with requisitions;

· Handling telephone calls with clients and third parties, and dealing with basic telephone enquiries;

Desired experience:

• dealing with sales and purchases of commercial property or residential transactions
• ability to work to strict deadlines, prioritise caseload and work as a member of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
