Pharmacy Counter Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for a Pharmacy Counter Assistant - Pharmacy Experience preferred although no essential as training can be provided

Education / Skills

• Pharmacy Counter Training preferred but not essential if you have previous retail counter experience.
• You would need to have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
• You would need to have a genuine concern for patients and be able to provide outstanding care for our customers.
• You must be able to work under pressure and to work within deadlines.
• You need to be able work accurately and methodically and pay attention to detail.
• You must have excellent customer service skills and it skills.

Responsibilities

• Taking in and handing out prescriptions
• Ordering items and unloading deliveries
• Selling over the counter medicines
• Responding to queries and referring to the pharmacist when needed
• Providing health advice and sign posting to our customers

We are looking for full time it would include a mixture of daytime and evenings.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From £10.42 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Work Location: In person
