Job Title: Junior Data Analyst

Reporting to: The Director of Operations.

Contract Type: Permanent/ Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Additional Information: Based at Moulton Park Industrial Estate

Salary: £25000.00

Overview: We have an exciting opportunity for a data analyst to join the Operations Team at St Matthew’s Healthcare. The Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets in a healthcare setting to inform business decisions. This role involves collecting and presenting data, as well as creating reports and visualizations to communicate findings to key stakeholders.

Job Description:

Key Duties:

Ø Analyse and review daily staffing numbers reported by the Care Homes and Hospitals under St Matthews Group on daily basis

Ø Support the HR team by answering data queries and updating records where required

Ø Statutory compliance reporting data collation, manipulation and delivery when required

Ø Streamline processes in Estates/ Maintenance and report daily outstanding tickets to the Estates Manager and to the Head of Maintenance team

Ø Streamline processes for agency staff booking and planning rotas for Care Homes and Hospitals under St Matthews Group

Ø Create auditing reports and provide insight for internal and external Stakeholders on data regarding agency staff hours used and maintenance tickets

Ø Generate Ad-Hoc Reports for the Director of Operations/HR Lead

Ø Present to the Stakeholders the data insights identified and propose solutions to improve or optimise the issues identified.

Ø Support Service Managers on data gathering

Ø Engaging with and presenting Data appropriately to varying stakeholders.

Ø Work with business stakeholders and managers to identify analytical needs and requirements

Ø Creating and maintaining processes for data gathering and delivery

Ø Have a passion for providing data quality, security and accuracy

Ø Participate in data workshops with stakeholders and technical peers

Requirements:

Ø The ability to pay attention to detail when working with data in order to make accurate conclusions and predictions

Ø Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively share findings with shareholders

Ø A solid understanding of data sources, data organisation and storage

Ø Strong IT and mathematical skills

Ø Good understanding of analysis methodologies, tools and techniques

Ø Sound analytical background

Ø Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and/or other data analytic software packages

Ø Ability to explain technical issues in a concise and non-technical manner.

Ø Excellent organisation and planning skills

Ø Good communication skills, both written and verbal

Ø Reliable, flexible, and able to work to tight deadlines

Ø Able to work on own initiative and without supervision

Ø Ability to stay focused and work under pressure

Qualifications & Experience:

Required:

  • GCSE Mathematics and English at grade C/4 or level 2 Mathematics and English equivalent. Pass at equivalent BTEC courses
  • 2 or 3 A levels, or equivalent, including maths
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working as a data analyst.

Desired:

Degree or equivalent NVQ in computer science, statistics or a related area.
