Role Overview & Responsibilities

Up to £26,500 (depending on experience) + bonus & benefits

Your purpose

You will perform management reporting and finance business partnering duties for all Group business units, and work closely with the Finance Business Partners in order to deliver exceptional service to stakeholders at all levels across the business.


Your role

  • Assist in month end processes supporting several Group Functions, generating profit/cost centre reports for functional managers to agreed deadlines, undertaking variance and trend analysis as required.
  • Supporting the ongoing review of profit/cost centres against budget & forecasts and providing early indication to budget holders and key stakeholders of any potential issues, risks or opportunities as they arise.
  • Consistently meet the period-end closing timetable and related administration responsibilities.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities for Group functions, providing healthy and constructive challenge to customers. Support consistent and timely reporting to allow all functions to be signed off by the FD & CFO prior to final sign-off of Group budget.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across the whole of Finance to facilitate prompt and effective resolution of issues and to help to deliver excellence in customer service.
  • Supporting non-finance based customers in the management of their income and spend, helping to educate them so they can confidently move towards self service.

What you’ll bring

  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Microsoft Excel experience (intermediate level)
  • Aptitude towards studying a relevant professional accountancy qualification.
