Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are proud to serve a culturally rich and diverse community in which all learners - adults and children, are supported to thrive and achieve.

Ideally we are looking to appoint candidates with successful experience of the following:-

  • Supporting pupils in a Nursery, Foundation Stage or KS1 setting
  • Supporting pupils at the earliest stages of learning English as a second language

or language acquisition

  • Delivering small group interventions such as ‘BLAST’
  • Working with professionals from agencies beyond the school e.g. Outreach

Services

Practitioners with EYFS/Nursery/Pre-School experience are welcome to apply

Please note the essential requirements for this post include:-

  • NVQ Level 3 - Teaching Assistant or equivalent
  • GCSE Grade C in English and Maths or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a Primary educational setting supporting learners in and

beyond the classroom

  • A high standard of oral and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to relate well to children, parents and staff
