Role Overview & Responsibilities

Full Time - 37.5 Hours Per Week

Fixed Term - For a period of up to 12 months, due to training opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to work within an Barnsley NHS Talking Therapies Service whilst receiving training and developing skills in the assessment and treatment of anxiety and depression. You will also be given the opportunity to develop group work skills, promote the service in the community, develop an awareness of what other services can help clients. This is a supported fast paced work environment but a very rewarding job as you seen the positive impact that researched based treatment can have on clients lives as well as learning personal skills for life.

The successful candidate will be on a Temporary Band 4 training post until, the course is completed (approximately 1 year). When the PWP trainee is successfully completed the Band 4 will automatically be regraded to Permanent Band 5 PWP.

If the trainee does not successfully complete the course the contact will end.
