Trust Doctor (ST1/ST2)

TRUST GRADE DOCTOR IN PAEDIATRICS, NEONATES AND PAEDIATRIC EMERGENCY MEDICINE

An opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic paediatric doctor, who wants to acquire 12 months work experience on a rotation in General Paediatrics, Neonates and Paediatric Emergency Medicine in a busy district general hospital. It is ideally suited to candidates wishing to work in a large teaching hospital which provides many specialist services and is ideal for anyone wishing to pursue a career in paediatrics or emergency medicine.

This role is suitable for applicants post foundation at ST1/2/3 level with experience working clinically within the NHS.

The post-holder will join a 13 person roster with daytime and out of hours duties allocated to paediatric emergency medicine and paediatric inpatients wards on the Sunderland Royal Hospital site.

The neonatal roster is separate and during this element of the rotation you will be covering the Neonatal Unit and Delivery Suite working alongside medical staff and Advanced Practitioners.
