Role Overview & Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Chaplain to join the Trusts Chaplaincy Team to work across the Trust. We are looking for an individual who is able to understand and demonstrate compassion when encountering other people.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a creative approach to working as part of a multi-faith team, which includes a willingness to undertake an on-call commitment.

The role is demanding and the successful candidate will need to be emotionally intelligent and able to work within boundaries so as to be able to manage difficult situations whilst acting as a reflective practitioner. Travel to and support within our Community Sites is an essential part of the role.

The post holder will be accountable to the Lead Chaplain. The post is for 37.5 hours with flexibility of how these hours are worked across the Trust. Having said this, business needs of the Trust will be given priority.
