Job Title: Frontend (UI) Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a frontend/full-stack engineer to join our team and accelerate our product development. As a frontend engineer, the candidate will be responsible for implementing features, fixing bugs, and implementing processes that enable other engineers to be as effective as possible.

Responsibilities:

• Implement smaller fixes/features by writing well-tested and maintainable code (first month)
• Implement more elaborate changes (first quarter)
• Take ownership of significant parts of the codebase (first quarter)
• Source one candidate for our engineering hiring pipeline every month (first quarter)

Requirements:

• 5years + React/Typescript experience
• 6 years + relevant professional experience (excluding contracting)
• Graduate of Bachelors of Computer or related courses
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with React or Angular
• Excellent software engineering skills, including writing scalable, well-tested, maintainable code that others can easily work with in the future
• Detail-oriented approach to ensure code changes do not break our production system
• Fast learner, especially for junior engineers
• Collaborative with good communication skills to collaborate with other engineers, designers, and customer success teams

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with Node.js or other backend languages
• Knowledge of Redux or other state management libraries
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £65,000.00-£90,000.00 per year
