Gallery Manager

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are working with a highly successful, award winning client who is looking for a Gallery Manager to drive a busy sales business in Richmond.

You will need excellent organisation, communication, and sales skills to be successful in this role!

Key responsibilities:

• You and your team will offer professional, friendly, and expert consultations selling merchandise, limited and open edition prints alongside original artwork.
• You will be striving to achieve realistic but challenging gallery targets and build a loyal client base.
• You will be developing and motivating your team, identifying opportunities to develop your galleries client base whilst offering exceptional customer service, and ensuring the gallery is well-presented as well as hanging and positioning paintings and sculptures.

Requirements

• Personality is everything in this role- you will naturally be engaging, and professional with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
• You will be a self-motivated individual who understands the tastes and requirements of clients and understands how to encourage new sales and develop successful relationships.
• Management experience of at least 2 years.
• A knowledge of art is not required as full training will be provided.
• Some weekend and evening work will be required.

Salary £25,000 - £27,000 per annum with OTE of between £29,800 - £31,800.
