Role Overview & Responsibilities

Production Operatives, Cambuslang, 37.5 hour week, £400 per week + Overtime – Increasing to £436 per week from April 2023

We are recruiting Production Operatives to work in Cambuslang, Glasgow

This is a long term position working Monday to Friday 6.15am till 2.15pm OR Monday to Thursday 2.15pm till 10.30pm and Friday 2.15pm till 9.15pm with the opportunity of transferring to a permanent role after a probationary period worked.

What to expect

· Assembly of timber kit wall panels for the construction industry

· Working to fabricated drawings and detailed work instructions

· Operation of hand and power tools

· Quality control – ensuring work carried out to specific guidelines, measurements and tolerances

· Manual handling

· Ensuring adherence to Health & Safety rules and regulations

· Ensuring work areas kept clear, tidy and hazard free

· A weekly pay of £400 with opportunity to increase earning as overtime paid at enhanced rates – time and a half and double time

What we’re looking for

· Previous experience in a production role or transferable skills from a different working environment

· A solid work history

· Attention to detail and a desire to deliver high quality work

· Ability to work from drawings / diagrams and follow work instruction

· Excellent timekeeping and attendance

· A desire to settle in long term or permanent employment
