Role Overview & Responsibilities

EARN AS YOU LEARN – TRADE APPRENTICE - ELECTRICIAN

SBHA is looking for a positive and enthusiastic Electrician Apprentice to join their team, based in the Scottish Borders.

The successful candidate will secure a four-year trade apprenticeship comprising on site practical training as well as college-based theory and practical examinations to provide them with the knowledge and skills to become a qualified Electrician, gaining SVQ Level 3, SCQF Level 7.

The successful candidate will also have excellent prospects to secure permanent employment within the business, upon the successful completion of their training.

Previous experience is not essential, we’re looking for someone with an interest in working in a customer focussed trade environment with good communication skills and an adaptable attitude.

The successful applicant will start in post July/August 2023 and will be paid in accordance with the National Minimum Wage for an apprentice.
